Responsibilities

  • Design and ship features in the deploy pipeline, from the API to the scheduler
  • Own services in production, including a shared on-call rotation one week in eight
  • Write design docs, review code, and help teammates level up
  • Find and fix the slowest path in every request you touch

Requirements

  • Five or more years building backend systems that run in production
  • Strong experience with Go, Rust, or a similar systems language
  • A working knowledge of containers, networking, and distributed systems
  • Clear written communication in English

Nice to have

  • Experience with schedulers, queues, or storage engines
  • Open source contributions you are proud of

Benefits

Everything on the careers page, including equity, health cover, thirty days of paid leave, a learning budget, and two team offsites a year.

Hiring process

A 30-minute intro call, a take-home task or portfolio review that you can do in your own time, two interviews with the team, and a final chat with a founder. Most processes take three weeks.
